The above picture has nothing to do with this musical but I love Charles Busch, who wrote the book and is pictured (in drag, duh) above. I got to tell him that when I was in high school, my nom de internet was Starkat (a character in his play “Psycho Beach Party”) and he said I was probably not very popular in high school. HE WAS WRONG, I WAS BELOVED.
